Please make the registration no later than 20th June.  The following items are included in the participant fee: Attendance at all sessions, final programme, abstract book on USB, lunches (not for student fee), coffee/tea in breaks during conference days.

On-site Registration

Registration made later than 20 June, 2016 will be considered as on-site registration and consequently minor delays at the registration desk, in connection with issuing of documentation and settlement of accounts, must be anticipated. Please remember to bring your proof of payment for presentation upon request.

Final Registration

Participants must register at the Registration Desk at Copenhagen Business School upon arrival at the Conference. Please remember to bring your confirmation of participation.

Payment must be made in Danish Kroner (DKK) to the order of TKE, c/o DIS Congress Service and remitted as follows:

Confirmation
If the Congress Secretariat receives the completed registration form before 21st June, 2016, written confirmation of registration will be e-mailed to the Congress participant upon receipt of registration fees. It is your personal responsibility that all details such as address, booked events, number of tickets, hotel reservation, date of arrival and departure, etc. are in accordance to your wishes. We therefore strongly recommend that you read and check the letter of confirmation of registration carefully to avoid errors. In the event of any errors in the confirmed, please contact DIS Congress Service in writing immediately.
Cancellation of participation (a written request is mandatory)
Pre-registered participants who are unable to attend the Conference will have their paid fees refunded less a processing fee of DKK 400 provided written notice of non-attendance is received by the Conference Secretariat before 1st of June, 2016. If cancellation is made after this date no refund of fee can be expected. All refunds will be processed after the Conference.
Changes
The Organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.

Social Events

Conference Dinner, The Royal Danish Playhouse, 23rd June at 19:00 hrs.

The Royal Danish Playhouse (Danish: Skuespilhuset) is a theatre building for the Royal Danish Theatre, situated on the harbour. The Royal Playhouse is designed by the Danish architectural practice Lundgaard & Tranberg and received a RIBA European Award in 2008 for its architecture as well as a Red dot design award for the design of the chairs. Enjoy a very special evening with good food and wine. The 23rd June is Midsummer Eve and there will be bonfires on the water. Price: DKK 480 + 25% VAT Dress: Informal

Reservation

In order to secure an accommodation suiting your needs and wishes, you are encouraged to book as soon as possible. The Conference Secretariat offers hotel accommodation at specially reduced Conference prices. Hotels available are:
Radisson blu Falconer Hotel**** Falconer Alle 9, 2000 Frederiksberg Radisson SAS Falconer is located right in the special atmosphere at Frederiksberg, one of Copenhagen's most charming districts. Just outside the hotel there is a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and beautiful parks to enjoy. Close to the hotel, you will find the old romantic palace garden, Frederiksberg Garden and the Zoo. Public transport, including the new Metro, is just two minutes away from the hotel. The 166 rooms are decorated in three different styles - Oriental, Scandinavian and Art Deco - all with full facilities. An additional facility is High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) giving fast and reliable access to the Internet, your company's network, and e-mail. CABINN Scandinavia Hotel ** Vodroffsvej 55, 1900 Frederiksberg C CABINN Scandinavia is located at Frederiksberg near the Lakes and the Metro station Forum; just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre of Copenhagen with the Tivoli Gardens and the pedestrian street, Strøget. The hotel has 201 rooms, of which 25 are especially designed for wheelchair users. All rooms have private bath with shower, television, telephone and an electric kettle with free tea and coffee. All standard rooms have bunk beds. Free wireless internet (hot-spot) in the lobby area and free guest computer. The hotel has a breakfast restaurant and parking facilities (fees apply). Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel. Single: DKK 560 / double DKK 690 per night.
Wakeup Copenhagen Hotel, Borgergade ** Borgergade 9, 1300 Copenhagen K Wakeup Copenhagen in Borgergade opened in 2014 and offers modern and good-value accommodation in central Copenhagen, only 5 minutes’ walk from Kongens Nytorv with its Metro station, Nyhavn and the shopping street, Strøget. All 498 rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, small work desk and bathroom with shower. Please note that all rooms have one 160 cm wide double bed and are non-smoking. The building is designed by Danish architect Kim Utzon and has 6 floors. Facilities include a breakfast restaurant, business centre, free wireless internet and parking (for a fee). Single: DKK 900 / double DKK 1,000
Deposit, cancellation and changes Reservations of hotel rooms must be backed up by a deposit payment. The deposit serves as a guarantee to the hotel for the first night and will be deducted from the participants’ hotel bill upon check-out. ALL REMAINING NIGHTS ARE TO BE PAID AT THE HOTEL UPON ARRIVAL.
In case of cancellation or changes:
  • Before the 19th of May, 2016: The deposit will be refunded
  • Between the 19th of May, 2016 and the 1st of June, 2016: The deposit will only be refunded if DIS Congress Service is able to allocate the cancelled room-nights to another guest.
  • After the 1st of June, 2016: No refund of hotel deposit will be made.
Please note that in case of cancellation all hotels are legally authorized to charge the entire stay as booked by the customer also in case of no-show. All changes must be made to DIS Congress Service in writing and not to the hotel.
All bookings will be made on a first-come first served basis after receipt of hotel deposit, as long as DIS has rooms available. 

Useful information

 Visa The entry formalities for the Kingdom of Denmark vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local Royal Danish Embassy / Consulate / Representation in the home country. Further information can be obtained on www.um.dk/en The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support. Local Transportation The Metro train from Copenhagen Airport offers you a direct train every 4-6 minutes to the city centre of Copenhagen/Frederiksberg and will take approximately 14 minutes. The Metro Station “Lindevang” is just next to the venue. Please check www.m.dk for further information. A taxi from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre is approximately DKK 250 (no extra charges for suitcases). Liability and Insurance Neither the Organisers (TKE) nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance. Climate The weather in Denmark in June is normally very pleasant, usually sunny. However, on occasion an umbrella may be useful. Daytime average temperature is around 200C, evening temperature around 150C. For ore information please see: www.dmi.dk Banks Normal banking hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Monday to Friday. On Thursday banking hours are extended to 18:00 hrs. Extended banking facilities are available at Copenhagen Central Railway Station 7 days/week between 07:00 and 21:00 hrs. There are ATMs usually located in connection with a bank branch, which accept a variety of international credit cards. The cards accepted are indicated on the dispenser. Shops The shops are open from 09:30/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 hrs. Monday through Thursday and 09:30/10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday/Sunday. Karen Blixen Museum and Louisiana Art Tour – 5 hours incl. lunch

Saturday 25 June 10:00-15:00 hrs. This tour will begin in the city of Copenhagen and proceed to Rungstedlund which was the birthplace and family home of Karen Blixen. Here you will be able to see the authoress’ private rooms, where the vast majority of her novels and other works were written. The tour will proceed to The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art which is located in northern Sealand, with a panoramic view across the Øresund to Sweden. The museum frames the sculpture park facing the sea and the interaction between art, nature and architecture is unique and relaxing. Louisiana is an international museum, with a stunning collection of modern art by many of the world's greatest artists. The museum's permanent collection includes more than 3.000 works and is one of the largest in Scandinavia. The tour includes a lunch package at Louisiana Price DKK 850 A minimum advance reservation of 15 persons is required in order to operate. The Congress Secretariat reserves the right to cancel the tour in the event of insufficient advance reservations. In case of cancellation, full reimbursement will be made.
