I am regularly involved in consultancy projects within the areas of my expertise. Over the years, I have contributed to more than 25 agency and government reports, in many cases outside of Denmark. For example, I recently served as a consultant to the World Bank on a project about the fiscal policy framework in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union.  I have also consulted the European Commission on how to strike a balance between fiscal rules and market pressure in order to ensure viable public finances in the euro area. Since 2015, I have served as a consultant to Djøf Publishing. Here my role is, within the field of economics, to suggest new titles and recruit authors. Over the period 2003-2010, I was a member of the Danish Council for Research Policy, a body which advises the Danish government and parliament on research policy.
