EJPE: Special Issue on "Fiscal Frameworks in Europe"
The sovereign debt crisis in Europe has led to a new emphasis on implementing stronger fiscal rules and institutions within a framework that defines each participant’s responsibility for maintaining sustainable public finances.
Against this background, Bruegel, Danmarks Nationalbank and PeRCent at CBS co-organized a research conference, held in Copenhagen on June 1-2, 2017, and hosted by Danmarks Nationalbank. Details of the conference can be found here.
After the conference, I have acted as a guest editor for the European Journal of Political Economy (EJPE), with the aim of putting together a special issue of the journal based on papers that were either presented at the conference or commissioned in order to ensure a wide coverage of topics relevant to the theme of the conference. All papers have been subject to a normal refereeing process.
The editorial process has now been completed, and I'm delighted to inform that the special issue has been scheduled to be published as volume 56 (first one in 2019). The table of contents can be found here.
