On May 30, 2018, I’m co-organizing (with Jesper Rangvid) PeRCent's fourth annual conference at CBS...
The conference features several academic presentations, including talks by top European economists Roel Beetsma (Amsterdam), Michael Burda (Humboldt) and João Cocco (LBS).
There will also be presentations by younger members of PeRCent, including Rikke Sejer Nielsen (CBS) and Linda Sandris Larsen (CBS).
Following the tradition, the conference also has a roundtable discussion, this year focusing on a comparison of the high-performing pension systems of Canada, Denmark and the Netherlands.
I shall chair the panel discussion, and the panellists comprise Casper van Ewijk (Amsterdam and Netspar), Bernard Morency (HEC Business School, Montréal), Torben Möger Pedersen (PensionDanmark) and Jesper Rangvid (CBS).
The conference ends with a dinner, by invitation only, where Ulrik Nødgaard, CEO at Finance Denmark, will give a dinner speech entitled: ”Ten Years Later: What Have We Learned from the Financial Crisis?”
The conference is designed to appeal not only to academics but also to practitioners from the pension industry, government agencies etc.
