The CBS Scholarship Fund for students at Copenhagen Business School was founded in 2005 by the CBS Center for Continuing Education.
Our goal is to grant scholarships and travelling scholarships to students at CBS, preferably to Full-time MBA students.
The fund is run by a self-perpetuating board consisting of three members:
Hakon Iversen: Deputy Permanent Secretary, The Ministry of Transport Ole Wiberg: Chairman, The Hedorf Foundation Jan Molin: Dean of Education, Copenhagen Business School The fund is independent. As the name indicates, it is associated with CBS.
“With our strategy “Business in Society”, CBS aims to be a world-class, internationally recognized business university. Our most significant contribution is research-based education, which makes the business community able to take up its vital role in shaping and developing society.
We are very proud of our recognized Full-time MBA, which is part of that one percent in the world, which has achieved the prestigious so-called Triple Crown accreditation. Its unique affiliation to the business community and real-life cases attracts ambitious students from all over the world.
The competition for the best student is fierce. In addition to the image of the programme, scholarships can also be a crucial aspect in choosing a university. Therefore the CBS Scholarship Fund plays a vital role in attracting the best international candidates.”
Per Holten-Andersen
